Dr. Patricia Palomino-Manjón is a Lecturer in English Language at the Centro Universitario de la Defensa-Zaragoza (Defense University Center-Zaragoza). She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics.

Her research interests include critical discourse studies, gender studies, and online discourse. She is particularly interested in (anti)feminist discourses and (linguistic) aggression in social media. Her Ph.D. research focused on the discursive construction of victim-perpetrator identities and the (re)production and (counter) resistance of patriarchal discourses of gender-based violence on Twitter.

She is currently Lecturer in English Language at the Centro Universitario de la Defensa-Zaragoza, where she teaches English for Specific Purposes (Defense) at under-graduate level to aspiring officers of the Spanish Army. She has also been invited to deliver lectures and conduct workshops on discourse analysis and soft skills development at prestigious international academic institutions.
